Luna lamp
Inspired by the beautiful movement of the moon throughout each month and its interaction with the sun to perform different phases. The Luna sculpture table lamp for indoor spaces runs with a simple mechanism and beautiful user interaction to express the moon's movement.
The lampshade can be manually rotated to control the moon's shape and the light's direction. The design challenge comes with bending the metal structure on a tight radius and stable shape. Another major challenge is showing the optimum and comfortable light source to look at and creating the best shadow effects that can enhance the spatial vibe. This results in using elastic fabric in the moon ring to give a sensual and smooth aesthetic and experience.
